CS 4961 - Python for AI

Course Description
This course serves as an introduction to terminology and basic commands in Python for use in AI applications. It is appropriate for students who have not completed courses in computer programing in Python in their curriculum. This course may also be offered using the MATLAB environment.  (prereq: none)
Course Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
  • Describe the basic syntax of programming commands covered in the course
  • Identify locations in existing code where minor modifications will result in a change in behavior
