NU 260 - Nutrition

This course introduces nutritional concepts as they relate to human health and fitness. Topics include a basic introduction to nutrition covering carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, vitamins and minerals. Further topics include “what is a healthy diet,” metabolism, energy balance, and the impact of nutrition on health and disease. (prereq: BI 102 , CH 223 )
