ME 190 - Computer Applications in Engineering I2 lecture hours 2 lab hours 3 credits The purpose of this course is to familiarize students with the modern computer tools required for engineering practice, and teach them how to apply these tools to solve practical engineering problems. Topics include problem formulation, model development, algorithm development, and the use of numerical methods and computer graphics in the solution of engineering problems. Laboratory exercises will involve the use of various numerical and graphical software packages. (prereq: MA 127 or equivalent)
