MB 6000B - Distributed Leadership for Effective Organizations1 lecture hours 0 lab hours 1 credits Course Description As students continue to develop their leadership style and attributes, this course introduces the role of the leader in a complex organizational setting. Theories of organization, organization behavior, organization design, and organizational change are presented, and students are oriented toward the process of distributed leadership in complex organizations. The development of vision and mission, and their communication to all stakeholders is explored. Common challenges in the leadership of people in organizations are also included.
