BA 3740 - Emerging Technologies

Course Description
In this course, students will explore new and emerging technologies and architectures within information technology and systems. Students will evaluate technologies based on industry needs. In addition, course projects will require students to create a business case for the implementation of emerging technology. (prereq: BA 2720 )
Course Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
  • Identify, research, and summarize several emerging technologies and architectures
  • Critique new and emerging technology based on application within a given scenario
  • Develop a business case for implementation of a new or emerging technology or architecture

Prerequisites by Topic
  • BA 2720 is needed for foundations in systems analysis and design.
