HU 4495 - Latin American History

Course Description
This course aims to provide an honest, historical assessment of a region of the world often marked by misunderstanding, unrest, and violence. While close attention will be paid to Guatemala, this class will also take into account countries such as El Salvador, Nicaragua, Panama, Mexico, Venezuela, and Cuba - and the relationship between these nations and the United States.
