MI 693 - Intermediate Statistics3 lecture hours 0 lab hours 3 credits Course Description Correct decisions in the healthcare industry that improve patient safety, the quality of service and efficiency and effectiveness of care can only come through the appropriate analysis of numerical data. The concepts in this course are also needed to assess information system performance. Topics include probability theory, discrete and continuous variables, hypothesis testing, regression and performance improvement.
