MT 4901 - Capstone Project2 lecture hours 0 lab hours 3 credits Course Description Students work individually to investigate solutions to an engineering problem. Students are expected to formulate a scope of work, research relevant literature, and design and analyze possible solutions. A written report and oral presentation are required. (prereq: permission of program director and advisor needed before registration.) Course Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to: Have completed an engineering project, including the following:
- Formulation of the scope of the work
- Research of the relevant literature
- Performance of design and analysis work to solve the problem
- Preparation of a design report
- Oral presentation of project
