MS 4203 - Microsoft Windows 7 Configuration2 lecture hours 2 lab hours 3 credits This course provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to install, deploy and configure Microsoft Windows 7. Topics include installing Microsoft Windows 7, configuring applications, network connectivity, access to resources, mobile computing, monitoring performance, and troubleshooting. The course includes face-to-face class sessions, in-class and virtual labs. The course covers material in Microsoft’s official curriculum course #6292A (Installing and Configuring Windows 7 Client), and the associated certification exam #70-680 required for the Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) certification. (prereq: one course in computer programming or computer networking; or equivalent professional experience)
