MA 3501 - Engineering Mathematics I4 lecture hours 0 lab hours 4 credits This and the following course cover post-calculus topics of interest to and importance for engineers. The emphasis in this course is on differential equations. Covered are: first and second order differential equations, the Laplace transform, series solutions, numerical approximations to solutions. This course is only open to students in the Bachelor of Science in Engineering program. (prereq: MA 226 or equivalent)
