ET 2003 - Advanced Circuit Analysis3 lecture hours 2 lab hours 4 credits This course is a bridge course for transfer students who do not have full junior status in the +2 BS-EET program. The primary concept to be introduced is frequency as a variable in the analysis of electric circuits and transistor amplifiers. Topics covered include circuit analysis with frequency as a variable, AC steady-state transfer function development, Bode plots, resonant circuit analysis and frequency response, and bipolar and field effect transistor transfer function analysis and Bode plots. The laboratory experiments illustrate the principles presented in this course. Computer simulation usage is extended to include swept frequency AC circuit analysis and transistor amplifier frequency response. (prereq: ET 2002 or approval by an EET curriculum advisor)
