MI 18030 - Medical Informatics Capstone III0 lecture hours 2 lab hours 1 credits
Course Description
In this course, the student will complete planning (such as project plan) for developing and implementing a solution to the problem or opportunity identified for the capstone project. In addition, the student will begin the execution of this plan. (prereq: MI 18010 , MI 18020 )
Course Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Define a problem/opportunity statement based on information gained through research and data analytics
- Analyze the problem/opportunity and formulate a question that accurately represents the desired solution
- Develop and implement the desired solution using appropriate change management and communication strategies
Prerequisites by Topic
- Project work for this course is dependent on completion of the work in MI 18010 and MI 18020 , which is identifying the focus and scope of the project
